John is a Multi Award winning TV and recording Artist who has played with such people as Johnny Cash, Don Williams and James Blundell.  As well as being a Former Australian Karate Champion and plane crash Survivor!!

Well we have just finished celebrating the Churches 30th Birthday and what a great time we had.
Ps David Helyard came to the celebration dinner on Saturday night and spoke a great word to the Church and then Ps Dean Eaton shared on the Sunday morning - a great time had by all
During the discussions regarding the start of the Church, we found that the first ever official meeting was actually held in the CWA Hall - the building which we currently own and reside in - Amazing coincidence!!

Sunday July 10th we have a baptism service which we will perfom immediately after the service in the Seventh Day Adventist Church (Seventh Day Church) have a great baptismal facility which we are able to rent off them for that particular  sunday morning

Sunday 17th July is a very special sunday for Southern fire Community Church as we take hold of the deeds to the property in our own right
We also have Lucien Byfieldt from Adelaide coming along to lead the congregation in a time of worship

Whats happening at Southern Fire June 2011

We continue to make progress with the building - the main hall is almost completed and looks really good and the entrance to the car park has now been opened allowing better and a more safe access to all who attend on the sunday morning

Throughout the month of June we will be looking at how the believer can develop their identity in Christ through the habit and practice of Biblical Meditation

About Me


Ps Adriano Petraccaro is the Senior Pastor of Millicent Community Church (Southern Fire). He and his wife Sue have two children Hannah and Joseph moved from the western suburbs of Adelaide to pastor the Church. Ps Adriano served as a Youth Leader (high school age) at Westside community Church in Findon now called Edge West as well as performing various laymen duties in the church. In 1999 Adriano and Sue along with their family were invited to be a part of a team that would establish a Church in the Port Adelaide Area under the Leadership of Ps Steve and Judy Bourne (now known as Cross Culture) where they served for 7 years eventually becoming an associate pastor of the church before moving to Millicent
